Twenty-year-old Baltimore native Sam Farthing has dedicated his life to the preservation of the traditions of gypsy jazz and swing. Beginning his musical journey with classical guitar, Sam gravitated towards the music of Sinti guitarist Django Reinhardt, and began immersing himself completely in his music. Over the last seven years, Sam has studied with some of the world’s top gypsy jazz guitarists and performed at gypsy jazz festivals across the world.
